The live class’s networking challenge results: Collectively, they successfully started relationships with 200+ people! Just a FRACTION of the results:

*Through a cold email, Rachel B. secured a phone meeting with an Emmy nominated producer who produced major studio features like ANCHORMAN 2

*Danielle M. got a referral and connected with a major sitcom director who has directed THE GAME, HART OF DIXIE, etc.

*Yee Yee L. secured 2 meetings with top executives at Warner Brothers

*Howard C. used Facebook to connect on common ground with a senior VP at the WEINSTEIN COMPANY to get a “yes” for an in-person meeting and cold called a producer who then introduced him to busy casting director, David Rapaport (ARROW, TOMORROW PEOPLE)

*Deborah R. was able to meet a director of several Stargate TV series

*Amanda C. connected with a producer who works closely with Paul Feig & FOX, a producer of THE HANGOVER via cold facebook message, and an in-person meeting with a CAA agent

*Heather H. started relationships with 20 industry professionals including producer/writer Neil LaBute, a senior agent at ICM, and multiple Oscar-nominated writers

*The Challenge Winner was offered a role on a pilot because of starting a friendship with a top TV drama producer, connected with a 1st AD of a popular drama series, and in-person meeting with one of the senior VP’s of Focus Features, and successfully connected with filmmakers at a film festival after emailing before the festival (smart!)

*Michael V. had a meeting with one of the EVPs of NBC
